Aquarius greywater diversion and treatment

Aquarius greywater diversion and treatment systems are designed for domestic gardens and lawns, and commercial applications - anywhere that large quantities of useable water are wasted.

Use your greywater

The clever thing to do is use the 250,000 litres of greywater the average family creates and sends down the sewer every year. Aquarius is also designed for hotels, unit complexes, caravan parks and sporting and recreational facilities.

Aquarius greywater system

All greywater (bathroom, laundry, shower, washing machine) is collected in a compact polyethylene tank, from where it is pumped to eighty square metres of sub-surface irrigation. Aquarius clears and disperses water quickly and regularly via its float-activated pump - and it also has a twenty-four hour timer to ensure it operates to health standards. The system incorporates a filter system to remove lint and hair, a valve to prevent water backflow into the tank and flushing valves to clear the irrigation lines.

Compact underground tank

The compact tank (1200 x 650 mm) is underground, so the system's only footprint is a 600 mm inspection lid.

Aquarius domestic sewage system

Aquarius also manufactures a domestic sewage system (ATU - alternative treatment unit) which uses ozone instead of chlorine. Ozone is 3,000 times more effective than chlorine and breaks down into oxygen rather than toxic chlorine by-products.
